NEJ UMM GATHERING FALL 2023
Join us for an inclusive gathering of the United Methodist Men and United Women in Faith as we seek God's guidance in planning our future ministry for men in the Northeastern Jurisdiction (NEJ). This event welcomes all interested individuals. We have chosen the scenic Shadowbrook Resort, located in the captivating Endless Mountains of Central Pennsylvania, as our venue.
To ensure a seamless experience at the resort, we kindly request your input on the number of United Methodist Men (UMM) and United Women in Faith (UWF) who will be attending. Please take a moment to complete the survey
The event will commence on the evening of Friday, October 27, 2023 and conclude on Saturday afternoon, October 128, 2023. The estimated cost is $119 per room, with an additional $50 per person covering three meals: Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast, and Saturday lunch.
The resort offers the flexibility of arriving on Thursday or extending your stay until Sunday, allowing you to take full advantage of the various amenities available. These include golf courses, tennis courts, parks, and a variety of restaurants.

Spring Retreat April 19-20, 2024

The NEJ UMM will hold a Spreat Retreat at the Montrose Bible Conference located at 218 Locust St, Montrose, PA 18801on Friday evening, April 19th and concluding Saturday afternoon, April 20th. A registration fee of $125/person will include lodging for one night and three meals - dinner, breakfast and lunch. Please mail your registration fee of $125 to John Conklin, NEJ UMM Treasurer, 203 Vanburger Rd., Owego, NY 13827 no later than April 12, 2024

The central theme of our gathering revolves around the concept of "Standing Strong in the Lord," drawing inspiration from the passage Ephesians 4:11-12. Throughout the event, we have carefully curated three impactful sessions that will equip you to be effective men's ministry leaders. These sessions will delve into essential topics such as Prayer and Bible Study, the Art of Cultivating a Flourishing Men's Ministry, and the Holistic Well-being of Men—encompassing the realms of Physical, Mental, and Spiritual health. The event will culminate in a meaningful and uplifting worship experience, filled with reverent praise.
